TRACES of TRACY
The Fallen Petals From a Rose
And Who of Us Even Knows
When the Fading of a Blushing Bloom Begins
Dropping Softly to the Ground
Where One by One Each Petal Found
Drying to a Whithered, Paper Thin
A Deeply Hued, Crimson Red
Color Spots a Garden Bed
Complemented in a Rich and Loamy Soil
Contrast a Fainting Fragrance Still Intact
A Fading Flower's Listless Slack
Was In the Eye of The Beholder Worth the Toil
Nurtured by Warm Mother Earth
To Sustain Another Coming Birth
A Beautiful Rose Indelible upon the Mind
Each Petal Falling Like a Tear
To Await, Again, Another Year
And my Saddened Soul Awaits Another Time
